Rain Sensor

Suitable for all watering systems, the rain sensor avoids unnecessary wastage of water by turning the sprinklers off when it is raining. The sensor is connected to the common solenoid valve (24 V) or to the Aquauno timers. When the internal flow reaches a level of 5 mm of rain per square metre, the system shuts down. Programmed watering automatically resumes when the water in the sensor evaporates. The rain sensor should be installed in an outdoor area exposed to rain using the stainless steel bracket provided. The Sensor is suitable for water systems watering lawns and borders. This unit is not used when watering planters and hanging baskets .
